Zophie isn’t used to wearing makeup so we kept everything minimal and glowing: good skin prep, a lightweight radiant base, a pink flush of blush, softly defined eyes and the perfect rose pink lip. Everyone kept saying her skin looked amazing … which is the best compliment!

I styled her hair in loose waves with soft, undone texture, finished with a chic birdcage veil for her modern bridal moment.

We had just our closest family join us for our ceremony at Stockport Town Hall, followed by a lovely private meal together. The next day we celebrated with everyone else - we had the best of both worlds!

We had just our closest family join us for our ceremony at Stockport Town Hall, followed by a lovely private meal together. The next day we celebrated with everyone else - we had the best of both worlds!

Me and my HUSBAND(!) Ben, wanted a relaxed few days surrounded by the people we love — and that’s exactly what we had. Absolutely perfect for us.

A question I got asked a lot before my wedding was whether I’d be doing my own makeup… for me, it was never really an option not to, and I’m SO glad I did it.

Just like with my brides, I wanted a look that felt like me — just elevated. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup, so it was important that I still felt comfortable and confident on the day.

Doing my makeup that morning actually felt really calming and was such a lovely way to start the day and take it all in.

I did, however, get to sit back and enjoy being pampered while the wonderful @bridal.byeve styled my hair so beautifully 🤍

Filming content wasn’t my main focus, but I’m so glad I captured these few clips!

At her trial, we styled a half-up, half-down look with textured curls, but after reflecting on her overall bridal style, she felt drawn to something more structured and classic. With 80+ weddings booked this year, I know a thing or two about how to make your morning run like a dream… here are my tips:

✨ Choose a light, spacious getting ready room – Bright space = perfect hair, makeup & photos. We carry a lot of kit, so a good surface to set up on is essential.

✨ Be selective about who’s in the room – Decide what vibe you want: a busy, buzzing space with all your favourites, or a calm, quiet morning with just a few people. Choose what will make you feel your best.

✨ Nominate a “go-to” bridesmaid – When you’re in my chair, I need your full attention. Having someone else on hand to grab things or answer questions keeps everything on track.

✨ Steam dresses before glam starts – Ideally the night before! Try to avoid steaming once hair & makeup is underway – it can cause frizzy hair and sweaty faces.

✨ Wear something comfy – A robe or button-up pyjamas are ideal so you don’t disturb hair & makeup when it’s time to change.

✨ Fuel & hydrate – A good breakfast and plenty of water will keep you glowing all day.

✨ Keep the vibe relaxed – Pop on a playlist and enjoy every moment. 💕
